Footnotes:
'Premiership' and 'First Grade' refers to the Australian rugby league competition which began in 1908. Originally known as the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) first grade competition, or premiership. In the 1990s the competition underwent numerous changes where the Australian Rugby League (ARL) and then the National Rugby League (NRL), established in 1998, inherited the history of the NSWRL first grade premiership.
